Generous who is being rested after his triumph atThe Curragh. Butthe Scottish Classic on 13 July is looking likely to attract a quality tield amongst which should be the one-time Derby favourite, Corrupt, and Emperor Fountain.
The race is the centrepiece of ten days racing at Ayr and Hamilton and will have a minimum of £35,000 prize money up for grabs making it one of the richest days in Scottish racing‘s calender. Other races in the Glasgow Fair Scottish Circuit will include a fillies race on 20 July and, on 19 July, the historic William the Lion handicap which has, torthe first time, been reduced from its marathon two miles to one mile.
