lThe European Community has almost twenty million tonnes of grain in Istore.
I In Africa, up to thirty million people face starvation, and still not enough Ifood is being sent.

I hereby ask that my "share" of the grain - about 50 kilos, enough to feed someone in Africa for'three months — be transferred to Africa by the EC.
The food is available - please ensure that everything necessary is done |to deliver the food to the people who need it, on time. That means:
|+ More food must be pledged and delivered rapidly.
|+ Co-ordination - a United Nations relief co-ordination team with the I power to get things done.
