Old lags return like an unwanted boomerang for some seriously weird experimental rock. They‘re only in it for the money. you know. Liverpool‘s Dr Phibes titillated with their tremendous debut album Whirlpool. The Wendys' album Gobbledygook has received mixed reviews but houses some pleasant chunks of indie pop which betray early 80s influences as much as the oft-mooted late 80s ones. Vatican Shotgun Scare are barbed. spiky. serrated and other sharp sounding adjectives.
