TURNTABLE
The inimitable Bootsy, renowned for his em, well . . .over-the-top disco-funk tastes, takes time off from Galaxy (Saturdays, 9c Victoria Street, Edinburgh) and Madisons (Sundays, Edinburgh) to choose his favourite live tracks just for us.
1. C.J & Co: Devil's Gun. Classic westbound disco-funk track ieaturing the combined talents of Mike Theodore, Dennis Coffey and Tom Moulton —shooting from the hip!
2. LTD: Back in Love Again. Patrick Cowley’s brilliant 1982 remix revitalises this lunltin’ heavy 70s cut in an eleven minute ‘Hot Tracks’ format. 1 3. Loleatta Holloway: Seconds. From the disco-soul diva who lent her voice to Black Box, this salsoul orchestra stormer is a real mother. . .
4. Helmut Zacharias: Light My Fire. The deiinitive version of a scorching track— Helmut really burns it up!
5. Stephanie Mills: Pilot Error. A Casablanca classic gunked up by the ‘Hot Tracks’ boys; heavily phased and out of control . . .

All drinks£l. ‘ I The Tunnel 1 1pm—3.30am. £4. Rap. house. techno and dance musicin well-trendy atmosphere — goggle at the 4 l
