I Scottish lntemallonal Children's Festival Edinburgh’s Inverleith Park is once again the home for easily the biggest children’s festival in Britain, which ran for the first time last year, selling 20,000 tickets and receiving 30,000 visitors. It runs Tue 28—Sun 2 June, and features 11 shows from performers including Scotland’s TAG, Hullaballoo and Black Box companies, plus America’s Fred Garbo the inflatable man, and companies from Denmark, Australia, Belgium and Argentina, all visiting Britain for the first time. There will also be many workshops and activities, including the BBC‘s Make A Radio Play workshop, storytelling, facepainting, a banner competition and the return of the popular Passport Office.
