Four young men escape the tedium oftheir lives by means ofan elaborate and obsessive re-enactment of Amundsen‘s expedition to the Antarctic.

Showcase isa company made tip of actors from various amateur dramatics clubs around Edinburgh who have come together to perform this ghoulish pantomime in aid of the Cancer Relief MacMillan Fund. The production caused a stir when the set came up from Yorkshire creating a trail of respectful traffic because of the coffin strapped to the roof.
