I The Lambs of God Benedict Scott‘s tragic tale of life in a Glasgow slum in the I930s was first performed in I948. Members of that original cast will appear in this Clyde Unity Theatre production. I Julio Gonzalez Forty sculptures. supplemented by drawings. frotn the influential artist whose .llmtserrar. about the Spanish Civil War. was exhibited alongside Picasso‘s (i‘uerm't‘u in Paris in 1937. Organised by London‘s South Bank Centre. this retrospective should help re-establish the importance ofthis sculptor who. despite playing an important role in the development ofthe artform this century. is currently little known in this country.
