I Julio Gonzalez Forty sculptures, supplemented by drawings, from the influential artist whose Monserrat, about the Spanish Civil War, was exhibited alongside Picasso’s Guemica in Paris in 1937. Organised by London‘s South Bank Centre, this retrospective should help re-establish the importance of this sculptor who, despite playing an important role in the development of the artform this century , is currently little known in this country.
