Makonde Until 17 Feb. Contemporary wood carvings from the people of the Makonde Plateau in Mozambique. the exhibition attempts to relate this modern form of African art to our own . rather than merely putting it on show as ‘ethnic‘ artefact.
Jam, Socks and Television: the John Logie Baird Story 24 Feb—24 March. A tribute to Scotland‘s unassuming inventor who made very little out of his invention which eventually brought Neighbours into our living rooms.

The subjects for his work include 25 mummified bodies from the Capucini convent in Palermo where bound corpses abound.
