Culture tor kids in Glasgow I990 is in the capable hands of the Young People’s Committee which is the basis of ‘Big Noise', the collective title for events and projects tor young people, aged between live and eighteen years. Throughout the year Big Noise will be programming events to suit all tastes— exhibitions, drama, workshops, storytelling, lacepainting, music and dance, puppetry and circus skills. Launching Big Noise is ‘Blast Bill“, a tour-day extravaganza held in the Glasgow Arts Centre, Washington Street (16—19 Feb). There are over45 workshops/performances to choose lrom, with food and fruity cocktails courtesy of the Holiday Inn to sustain young participants. The lull programme is due at the end at the month; read all about it in the next issue of Kids’ List.
