This charity performance in aid of the Scottish Downs Syndrome Association. features an Israeli actress in; monologue about a mother ofa boy with Downs Syndrome. The play gives an insight into the feelings ofall parents with children who are considered to be different.

Playwright Liz Lochhead and director Gerry Mulgrew explore the boundaries ofcliché and archetype in Communicado's devised celebration of the Scottish nation. Fate Sun 21& Tue 23 Jan. 7.30pm. £6.50/£3. Scottish Opera extends its operation beyond the Theatre Royal to present this retelling of Verdi‘s tragictale. It features actors from 7:84 and the Citizens Theatre Company alongside performers from Scottish Opera and is a vivid musical and theatrical exploration of the relationship between La Forza Del Destino and the original play upon which it is based.
