The numbustlous World at Thomas Rowlandson Until 14 Jan. An exhibition of the vigorous. though often held to be crude and vulgar. drawings by the English cartoonist and ban vr‘vcur. During his life (1756—1827). he associated with Moorland. Gillray and Bunbury. travelled widely in Britain and indulged fully in tavern life. This selection of prints from the British Museum. some of which are on public display for the first time. hasbeen chosen to represent the span of hislong Afghan Arts 12 Dec—14Jan. Craftwork from the country that made Sandy Gall famous. The textiles. jewellery and rugs will all be for sale.

Running Ina Dog Until 13 Jan (closed 23 Dec—2 Jan). A menageric ofstrange animal and human creatures sculpted in bronze and ceramic by Michael Flynn. This is the first Scottish showing ofhis most recent works.

Crossing the Border Until 13 Jan (closed 23 Dee—2 Jan). The title for this collection of work from the Embroidery and Textile Group of Glasgow School of Art and the ‘62 Group' refers to artistic parameters rather than geographical boundaries.
