New Beginnings is bringing Soviet art to Glasgow from 27 Oct until 3 Dec and features film, theatre, dance, rock, classical music and painting, Russian-style. The List has three pairs of tickets for each of a selection of exciting performances
overthe next month or so and they are up for grabs in this simple competition! On 9 November you can win tickets to see the Tron Theatre Company team up with
Moscow's finest in a Scottish production of Cinzano, a play about three young Muscovlfes guzzling their way through a crate of booze (9—26 Nov). Then there is the Leningrad Puppet Theatre Studio on Thurs 23 Nov performing three tarces by Anton Chekhov for adults (23-25 Nov). And lorthe more musically-minded, there are tickets for either of the Pekarsky Percussion Ensemble performances (18 & 19
Nov) which mix an element of theatre into their hugely popular and energetic
percussive music. All you have to do is answer the question and state which performance you’d prefer and return the form quickly by 4 Nov when the draw will take place.

Just about everybody seemed to knowthat a futon is a natural bed, ideal forsmall rooms. also usable as a sofa, with orthopaedic qualities, and thatTessa Sanderson and Anita Roddick both own futons by Shuch Design. The first prize winner was Clive Young (Glasgow) who will be getting a Subarashi base and a six-ply futon. Double six-ply futons were won by S. Hyde (Glasgow) and Sonia Fioshcnick (Edinburgh). Several people were entered into Shuch‘s national competition and stand a chance of winning the chance to sleep on a futon anywhere in the world of theirchoice.
