Henri Cartier-Bresson in India Until 15 Sept. Photographs taken from the early Fifties to the Eighties by the acknowledged master of 201h century documentary photography. The collection includes a moving record. made in 1948. of the last days of Ghandi‘s life.

Armando Until 23 Sept. The Dutch artist presents large landscapes influenced by his adolescence in wartime Holland. On a lighter note the Gallery will be showing videos of his 1974 cult TV show Gentleman's Sorrow. incidentally Armando claims not to be able to remember his real name.

Far more of the national collection is on show than ever before. with the entire Gallery given over to this exhibition which traces the development of Scottish Art through the 2()th century. taking as its twin polesof reference the early (‘olourists and the aggressively figurative painters of the 1980s. Unfortunately the exhibition is unadventut'ous in its choice of paintersand paintings. and provides little space for three-dimensional work or photography.
