NEW ORDER/ A GUY CALLED GERALD
Anyone who has heard A Guy Called Gerald‘s excellent single, Voodoo Ray, will know that the very idea or such an act trying to play live in the largest hall of the SECC is simply absurd. The reality was much the same, and the attempts to recreate a mechanical, dancetloor sound in a live context tailed badly.

Despite the necessary concessions to commercialism, New Orderstill come out with a lair degree or integrity intact.
Howeverthe set, which was just over an hour long, did play tairly sale, with much at the contents being culled from the recent Technique album, maybe justiliably inthe lightot itbeing easily theirmostconsistentalbum to date.
