For the third year running Scottish Television and Community Service Volunteers join forces to man a Christmas support line. Simply by dialling 041 3321345 or 031 3321345, residents of the Glasgow and Edinburgh areas can have access (at normal rate) to the Helpline’s information bank.
The Helpline service can give you more details of emergency services available over the holiday period, when it can seem that the only things open are bottles. Support of all kinds, practical and moral, will be available from noon on Christamas Eve till noon on 2 January, twenty four hours a day. During December a "Safety Pack‘ and a "Shopper’s Guide’ is available, free, by phoning the same number.
