Making her first British concert performance for 5 years, the legendary and celebrated soloist Dame Joan Sutherland will be singing Arias by Verdi, Handel, and Donizetti (including the Mad Scene from Lucia di Lammermore) in what promises to be a stunning Operatic Gala.
With the baton in the very capable hands of Richard
Bonynge, this is a concert that no serious music-lover will want to miss. Theatre Royal, Glasgow (first) on Sunday 4 October to be followed by Usher Hall, Edinburgh on Wednesday 7 October. (The Royal Bank Concert). ,
