150 children have been playing their part in the celebrations which mark the 400 years that have passed since the death oi Mary Queen at Scots, by creating cartoon characters. Children irom Edinburgh, Fotheringhay and Stirling have been Involved in the project with the Splelbergian role ot champion oi animation being taken by Jessica Langiord at The Film Workshop in Edinburgh. The resulting iilm, which has 400 painstakingly put together scenes (Hoiyrood is pictured above) with all the characters being drawn or made by the children, was commissioned by the National Galleries and can be seen at the Queen's image and Queen's World exhibitions at the Portrait Gallery, Edinburgh,
