seems undaunted by thFlask or by the American accent he has to adopt.
The group began in 1979, when a children's theatre lrom Waking, which regularly attended the Edinburgh Festival and called on extra cast from pupils at Holyrood School, suddenly found they couldn’t come after all. Rather than disappoint the children at Holyrood who had already begun rehearsals, one of the parents, Peter Goman, decided to go ahead and present the show anyway. This initiative launched the group, which now boasts nearly 100 members including a very strong adult support group. Judging lrom the overall enthusiasm and the company's production record, it is going from strength to strength. (Sally Kinnes)
