An Egyptian horse in its 2000+ year is one of the very special toys on display in this exhibition of old-fashioned toys. Closer to home there is a dolls‘ house made for a little girl in Glasgow in 1916. complete with a tiny candlestick for lighting the way to bed. There are competitions and quizzes. with prizes. related to the exhibition.

Racing to catch Thunderbirds Are Go! at the
programmes and competitions on Sat mornings and at other times during school holidays. All the events are open to children aged 8—12 years and admission is free. Workshops are very popular however. and numbers are limited st do book in advance (forms from Information Desk). The workshops listed below are the last in the current series which looks at festivals from all over the world. A new programme of trips will start some time after 16 April when this series ends. ‘ Booking Starts Thurs 2 April for Make Faberge Easter Eggs! on Thurs 16 April 10am—I2noon.
