FINE FARE LEAGUE

PREMIER DIVISION

0 Celtic v Dundee United Celtic Park. Glasgow (Buses 61. 62. 64) United seem to be Celtic's bogey team. ?‘ especially at Parkhead. and this feature is probably the most exciting ofthe day.

0 Clydebank v Rangers Kilbowic, Clydebank (5 mins walk from Singer station)

0 Hamilton V Falkittt Douglas Park. Hamilton (15 mins from bus station) It may not be glamorous. but it’ll be tough.

0 Hearts V Aberdeen Tynecastle. Edinburgh (Buses 1.2. 3, 4. 33, 34). It‘s a toss up between this and the Celtic/Dundee United game for the title ‘match of the day’, but suffice it to say that the Dons are going to have to get their act together soon or they‘ll be left a long way behind in the championship race.

0 St Mirren V Hibs Love Street, Paisley. (Short walk from Gilmour Street station). IfJohn Blackley is still in charge by now, and I strongly hope that he is, his Hibs team might just edge this one. but it‘ll be close. FIRST DIVISION

0 Dumbarton v Clyde Boghead, Dumbarton. (Train station 10 mins from ground).

0 Ounierrnline v Oueen oi the South East End Park, Dunfermline (15 mins from Dunfermline Station).

0 Kilmarnock v Brechln Rugby Park, Kilmarnock. (15 mins from bus and train stations).

Wednesday 19

FINE FARE LEAGUE

PREMIER DIVISION

All games evening kick-oil.

o Falkirit v St erren Brockville, Falkirk. (100 yards from Grahamestown Station). St Mirren. not the strongest of away sides. will struggle.

O Hibs V Celtic Easter Road, Edinburgh. (Buses 4.15. 42, 44). If the sillier sections of the crowd stop singing their pathetic ‘patriotic’ songs for a minute they might just see a cracking game.

0 Motherwell v Hearts Fir Park. Motherwell. (Buses pass 200 yards from ground.) I can’t see Motherwell causing too much of an obstacle to Hearts here.

0 Rangers V Dundee Ibrox, Glasgow (2 mins from Ibrox U-Ground). I suspect the Dundee sides like coming to Glasgow. especially this one who have a history ofcausing the ‘gers problems. One thing about Brian McGinlay‘s absence from the game is that Dundee will no longer have to put up with 25 mins injury time should Rangers still be looking for an equaliser at the end of normal time.
