COUNCIL DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION are running a scheme entitled Adult Learning Opportunities. ln 96different venues all around Glasgow there are evening, part-time, vocational and leisure courses in a staggering number of subjects from ‘O' and Higher Grades to typing to satellite television to cake icing to Punjabi to Yachtsmanship. All details are contained in the Adult Learning Opportunities handbook available at local libraries. Vocational classes are enrolling between now and the end of the week, leisure or non-vocational classes enrolment dates are generally in the week beginning 22 Sept.
