A new full and exciting programme starts at the centre in September. Registration for the following classes will be Aug 26 and 27. 11am—3pm and 6.30—8.30pm:
Yong Theatre Team Fridays 7.30pm. Workshops, training. productions. Anderston Children's Theatre 4—6pm. Full range of children’s drama activities.
Enrol Sat 30 Aug 10.30am—12.30pm for:
Saturday Club Children’s activities in art, drama, weaving, dance and crafts each Sat 2pm. Classes begin Sat 6 Sept.
There will also be the following workshops:
Children’s Drama Workshops 13—17 Oct. Daily 2—4pm. Introductory workshops in drama, mime, movement and improvisation in Primaries 6 and 7. Places are limited,

0 INSECT 200 Winter Palace. People‘s Palace, Glasgow Green. Mon-Sat 10am-5pm. Sun 2-5pm. Free. During August the Dolphin Arts centre Insect Zoo has crept into the Winter Palace. (The insects are returned each day. so go before 4.30pm). Ifyou‘ve never seen a pink-toed tarantula. this is your chance!

The Mitchell Theatre for Youth who
i are performing West Side Story in the 3 Edinburgh Festival (25—30 Aug),
will be enrolling new members on Monday 1 Sept. 6—8pm at the theatre. It is open to anyone 8—21 years and there are no auditions. but go along early as there are only a limited number ofplaces. Rehearsals and workshops take place every Mon evening and Sat afternoon. Membership fee £2 per year, or 10p per week.

The Commonwealth Pool is closed until Dec, but until then all local swimming pools will be open extended hours and also on Sundays.

0 THINS SATURDAY CLUB 53-59 South Bridge. 556 6743. Saturday mornings 10—11.30am.
This has now been going for about a year and has proved very popular. It is divided by age into two groups and takes place in the Children‘s Department downstairs. For up to 8 years there are stories and drawing or things to make, a train from a box. for example. and for 8 years plus. there is some sort ofcompetition every week with clues set around the department. Also prizes! The club is free and open to any child.
