One oi the most outstanding vocal I talents to have emerged in the last year is Mick Hucknall, the souliul tenor ironting Manchester‘s Simply Red. Formed irom the ashes oi the critically reviled Frantic Elevators, the band iirst got noticed with their cover version oi the Valentine Brothers' Money's Too Tight To Mention, a choice at song that f raised quite a tow eyebrows, but did a 5 line iob oi showcasing Hucknail’s vocal ; abilities.
