ll Bridges is accused ol the oldest crime in the world then Richard Marquand's film is saddled with one of the oldest plotlines in the world; an unoriginal Perry Masonish melange ol the type that the old Hollywood would have dashed off as a nifty ‘8' picture. However, the lead actors are personable, the outcome moderately intriguing and the handling commendany competent. However, the dead hand of cliche stalks virtually every frame and there’s very little to raise this above the level of a standard American television film.
