Written by prolii c Finnish screenwriter John Lundsten, and directed by Julian Garner. Part of the Start to Finnish showcase. instability with the looming threat of civil unrest, Hassan Abulrazzak’s play presents a trio of stories: Love in the Time of Barriers focuses on a Palestinian actor; Level 42 on a young man in Bradford jailed on suspicion of terrorism; and The Apple on a disenfranchised young man in London. Created and performed by Norah Sadava and Amy Nostbakken, the show explores the inner conl ict that exists within a modern woman’s head. Following its North American tour, Mouthpiece found a high-proi le champion in Hollywood actress Jodie Foster, who said the show left her ‘speechless’.

Looking through the lens of labour, Workshy is a powerful and honest portrayal of the relationship between class and aspiration. Glasgow-born, London-based activist Katy Baird has spent the last 20 years working in various jobs, from Burger King to Butlins – and most recently as an artist and arts administrator. Here, she presents a history of her employment life, with added disco music.
