Dracula
A Game of Soldiers ●●●●● This is one of the best plays I have been to. It takes you through a myriad of emotions including laughter, repulsion, guilt, pride, shame and many more. It humanises every individual impacted by war – and shows there is no glory, at all. Comment posted by Kimberley Davidson
Andrew Lawrence Andrew Lawrence left me cold. I couldn’t decide if he was committing comedy suicide or having a very public breakdown, possibly both. While I don’t mind a bit of vitriol, I don’t choose to shell out my hard-earned money to listen to humourless, self-pitying rants. It does seem it’s time for him to retire from the circuit he seems to despise, but charging me to listen to him hand in his notice isn’t going to earn him any kind of reference from me. Maia and the Sock Monster ●●●●● The first performance was enjoyed by all. A nice end to the afternoon for my daughter, who loved ‘The Big Toe Boogie’ and sung it all afternoon! Comment posted by Kate Phillips
This show is fabulous. Your reviewer [who gave it two stars] must have been having a bad day because the audience loved it! I went on a recommendation and have also now recommended it to others. Ignore the reviewer’s comments. We gave it a standing ovation. Go along to Dracula and enjoy it as much as we did. Comment posted by Rob Wharmby
The Lost Cabaret ●●●●● It is not funny. Rubbish. Pure, unadulterated crap. Comment posted by Theater Fan
No Belles ●●●●● Sincere, well constructed and funny play about women in science. One of the most enjoyable things I’ve seen this Fringe. Comment posted by Mirjam Hengeveld

FAULTY TOWERS: THE DINING EXPERIENCE Basil Faulty of the not- quite-offi cially-endorsed comedy dining show (check the spelling) decided to kill two birds with one stone this week, ridding himself of Manuel and getting some valuable exposure in the process. Sadly, Sybil came to reclaim the feckless Barcelonian waiter shortly after. ■ Faulty Towers: The Dining Experience, B’est, until 26 Aug (not 16, 23), 2pm & 8pm, £45–£49.50 (including meal).
