TOPPING UP
Here at List HQ we love a new
venue, and are much excited by Topside, the Underbelly’s
newest venture, to be found at the back of Edinburgh’s Festival
Theatre. Highlights heading for the 200-capacity theatre studio include
the world premiere of Alexander Masters’ Stuart: A Life Backwards,
written by BAFTA award-winner Jack Thorne, kiddies favourite
The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik,
cult musical My Name is Sue,
funnyman and Foster’s Edinburgh
Comedy Award winner Doctor Brown – lest we forget moreish
cabaret feast and List favourite, Le Gateau Chocolat (pictured).
The lovely Johnny Vegas will TT return to the festival on 11
Aug to talk about his
upcoming autobiography in the Spielgeltent at
Assembly.
