Kataklo, the renowned Italian physical theatre company made up of professional athletes and former Olympic gymnasts present their world premiere of Love Machines. A beautiful meditation on discovery and joy, this show is an homage to Leonardo da Vinci’s studies of body and machines and it portrays a slanted word where things turn out straight. The maverick New York comedian, in his second visit to Edinburgh looks at US imperialism and how America ‘may have elected the black guy but are still screwing over the rest of the world.’ Razor sharp, political and very funny, Jamie’s work has already incurred the wrath from the American right and the ‘lobby’ group God Hates Fags.
