Go and see him while you can still get close enough to see his lovcable face.

approach to comedy: non-comedic. thought- consting ‘things' which fall between every stool you can think of. Willi their debut last year. they annoyed critics and bamboo/led

audiences but the Perrier panel were impressed enough to give them the

Newcomer award. Their publicity shots give you a clue of their modtIs operandi: squeezed together in shrink wrap or crushed close up in a washing machine. Goodbye - We Were The Nualas Assembly Rooms. 3—2 7 Aug. 7. 30pm. ‘Goodbye. We Were The Nualas‘ is allegedly the swan song of this all-singing. all-eating comedy trio. If this is true. it is sad indeed. for few acts can lay claim to such a following. These giddy. madly bespectacled ladies go by the names of No Nonsense Nuala. Upbeat Nuala and Down Under Nuala (actually Susan Collins. Anne Gildea and Tara Flynn). Having met at a Dublin party in l995 they played their first Festival gig in August of that year to packed houses and encores. Their odd little songs and tales of love and food seemed to touch a populist nerve. Since then they have toured the world with their sugar coated ‘Big Shiny Dress Tour‘.
