Alan Currall - Encyclopaedia And Other Works Until Sat 23 Sep. The gallery’s Festival exhibition present the first major solo exhibition of work by Glasgow-based artist Alan Currall. Best known for his monologue video works, Encyclopaedia is a new CD-ROM work which parodies the reference works of Encyclopaedia Britannica and Microsoft Encarta. See review.

East Of Eden Scotland’s only mobile art gallery goes on tour with a new exhibition of work by Paul Carter and Kate Gray. Exploring notions of the search for identity and meaning, Gray creates large photographs displayed in light boxes and kinetic video sculptures and Carter constructs an installation including an extraterrestrial radio- scanner and a camera surveillance of the sky. The gallery will be stopping off at various Edinburgh venues until Fri 18 Aug.
