If Mark Thomas' political comedy is a bit too highbrow for your tastes, maybe Andy Parsons' approach to the genre [5 a bit more up your street. ’It’s a fools’ manifesto for the let century,' claims the comedian. ’It’s satire for the masses.’ Asked to be a bit more specific, he replies proudly: ’I don't know much about politics, and I shall be transferring that lack of knowledge to the peOple.'
Parsons plans to include some local
interest material for this run. ’l'm hoping to work in some stuff about the Scottish Parliament, but I've yet to work out where the funny bits lie in that.’ Him and us both. As for the rest of his show, expect Jokes about anything from the single European Currency to the Pope.
